(Senior) Consultant Financial Due Diligence

Roles & Responsibilities

As part of KPMG Deals, you will perform the following tasks:

- Participate in financial due diligence assignments in context of buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, servicing both corporate and private equity clients.
- Identify key risks and gain an insight in the value drivers and the performance of the targeted business;
- Add value to the targeted transaction by transforming key findings into price adjustments and proposed warranties;
- Analyse and present financial information (i.e. Income, Balance sheet and Cash flow statements), as well as underlying key performance drivers.
- Assess key valuation metrics used to bridge Enterprise and Equity value by analysing underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements and net (financial) debt.
- Provide insight on other (non-) financial risks and opportunities specific to the business and relevant to consider in a transaction context.
- Work in close collaboration with the client's M&A team and other specialists (legal, tax, pensions, environmental,...);
- Collaborate with other due diligence workstreams (e.g. Tax, Legal, HR, IT, Environmental)
- Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to work on cross-border projects.

A great opportunity for you, as the range of clients and the multidisciplinary projects you will work on, offer continuous challenges. Furthermore you will be in frequent contact with clients - requiring travel to multiple client sites on a national and sometimes international basis.

Skills & Qualifications

- You have a Masters degree and at least 3 years experience in a relevant domain (Deals, Finance, Financial Audit, …) with relevant experience in transaction services related domain considered a plus;
- You are knowledgeable in corporate finance aspects, accompanied with strong accounting skills;
- Proficient in MS Office and keen to work with data analytic tools (e.g. Power Query);
- You are team-oriented with the ability to take ownership and work independently;
- You have excellent bilingual speaking and writing skills (English and Dutch or English and French).
