Brussels-based scale-up DigiTribe has renewed its management team and shareholding. Based in Auderghem, the company was founded in 2017 by its CEO François Lecocq in partnership with IT group BuSI, provides consultancy services in four areas of expertise: ICT architectures, cloud, cybersecurity and digital enablement.

 

 

The company welcomes Benoît Carlier as new partner and Chief Operating Officer. He will be a member of the company's management team, along with Laurent Goffinon, who has been promoted to Chief Digital Officer. Furthermore, DigiTribe's founder and CEO, François Lecocq, has acquired the shares of IT group and co-founder BuSI and is now the sole shareholder. After this transaction and with the new management, DigiTribe expects to reach a turnover of 10 million euros by the end of the year.

Two new directors

Until recently Benoît Carlier (41) was Country Director Belgium at Huxley, an international recruitment and consulting company specialised in IT, finance and engineering. Over the last twelve years he has held various strategic positions there. Before that, he worked for 5 years at the marketing agency Luon. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing from EPHEC.

"It is a great opportunity for me to join DigiTribe. We are at a pivotal moment in terms of digital transition in Belgium and Europe," says Benoît Carlier. "Since its inception, DigiTribe has been on a real growth path. As the new COO, I now have the opportunity to contribute to DigiTribe’s development. My role will be to streamline our operations so that we are ready for realize our ambitions in Belgium and abroad."

In addition, Laurent Goffinon (30) will take on the role of Chief Digital Officer within DigiTribe's management. His role is to guide the DigiTribe community and mine the potential for new Tribes in different technologies. Laurent Goffinon has been on board at DigiTribe since 2018 as Resource & Delivery Manager. Since the end of 2019, he has also been in charge of the company's Digital Labs and innovation cells that support customers in their digital transitions.

Six million euro revenue

DigiTribe was founded in 2017 with the support of the IT group BuSI. Last month, François Lecocq took over the co-founder's 30% shares. The CEO is now the sole shareholder. In 2020, DigiTribe experienced a remarkable growth of 25%, accounting for a turnover of 6 million euros.

François Lecocq, CEO: "In four years time, we managed to build a stable company with a team of 50 consultants. We are now starting a new chapter, with very good prospects for the future. I am therefore very pleased that Benoît Carlier and Laurent Goffinon are joining me at the head of DigiTribe. With them and the team, we are ready to help our clients in their digital transition."

In 2020, the company achieved a turnover of €6 million. It now has 50 consultants on board.
