Project Controller

 

 


Our Administration Department ensures a high quality of service in the field of Human Resources, Legal, Finance and Media matters as well as the Daily Office Operations.
A position in Administration – in a Company developing technology and performing human spaceflight missions with Astronauts – is definitely a stimulating choice as it opens up doors to various career opportunities.

Position

We are looking for a Project Controller who will perform administrative and budgetary project control, e.g.budget calculation and data inputs from Project Managers, analysis of project report data including predictions and the consequences of schedule and budget changes, etc.
The position is in the Administration Department (comprised of 7 persons).
The Candidate will mainly report to the Business Controller and indirectly to the Administration Department Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • In coordination with the Project Managers and/or the Business Controller, enter project and financial data in our Enterprise Project Management tool
  • Ensure the data are accurate, complete and well structured to ease the other Users’ understanding
  • Prepare additional overviews, whenever necessary, as an add-on to the project report
  • Integrate our internal project report data to external systems such as the official European Commission electronic reporting portal
  • Ensure smooth & consistent project administration by organising and structuring projects on the file server and in hard copy, in preparation for future audits
  • Highlight any deviations of actual expenditure from predictions to the relevant Managers
  • Identify & analyse promptly issues, lack of inputs from other Parties and recommend changes to the relevant persons
  • Propose programmatic (financial and schedular) reports
  • Provide some backend support to European Space Agency and European Commission audits.

Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in accounting, economics, business administration, or a relevant field/experience
  • Preferably an experience as a Project Controller/Administrator
  • Good level of project controlling & accounting
  • Solid administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills
  • Dynamic with a problem-solving approach, structured, with an analytical mind and a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently, with assertiviness and high precision
  • Proven experience with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Good written and spoken English.
